The fronts of these badges are smooth because the engraving is done on the reverse side and the engraved areas are filled with a special paint. The badges are mounted in a plastic frame with a standard pin back. They measure 3.25 by 1.75 inches. They are also available without a frame. A Word of Caution... All of our button badges are laminated to protect the artwork, but care must be taken when wearing them. Hairspray and perfume should be used before the badges are put on, because the alcohol in the overspray will damage the badges. The same precaution should be taken with our reverse engraved badges.
